I've always wanted one of these little buggers. I would wear a muff around my neck (like the girls from the 50's) and my little hedgehog would ride inside. I like the name Fiona for a gal and Prince Harry Hedgehog for a boy. (but he of course would need to be a “ginger” hedgehog!)
I must admit that I am running out of things to write about for my book. There's smoke coming out of my ears! I have been receiving most of my inspiration from my journals. That means I have to read them to find the treasures, and sometimes that means quite a hunt. For the past month I have been doing all writing and not much reading, so my reservoir of ideas has run dry and I have to refill it. I am still shooting for 1000 words a day, but sometimes I search for awesome quotes in order to make my daily quota.
Here's a quote from one of my favorite writers that keeps me at it. I may not be a genius, but I know I am original!
“Geniuses can be scintillating and geniuses can be somber, but it’s that inescapable sorrowful depth that shines through--originality.”
—Jack Kerouac
