I was so inspired that I decided to make a small donation to SEVA, and also wrote Wavy a letter to thank him for the work he's doing in the world.
The movie is on Netflix! Check it out and be inspired!

Last night I watched the documentary "Saint Misbehaving" about the life of Wavy Gravy, AKA Hugh Romney, the political clown who has changed the world with unconditional love and humor. He's well-known in these parts, since Humboldt County is sort of a Mecca for hippies from all over the world. He owns a ranch about 70 miles South of here, and I've actually been lucky enough to work many concerts at his place called The Black Oak Ranch. I've gotten to meet and cook for many famous people there, such as Joan Baez, Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Michael Franti, and even the man himself: Wavy Gravy. He's so humble and down-to-earth that I had no idea I was working for such an amazing man! Most impressive is the SEVA foundation he started to that gives sight to thousands of blind people in India. It brings tears to my eyes! I was so inspired that I decided to make a small donation to SEVA, and also wrote Wavy a letter to thank him for the work he's doing in the world. The movie is on Netflix!
