This has also made me a more patient person, believe it or not! Sometimes you reach a point where you have to choose between patience and madness. This time, I chose patience, and I am glad to say that I am a better person for it.
In the process of all this mess, I have also discovered a new local computer shop called Shaw Computing. Owner Jeremy Shaw is a very interesting fellow. Besides running a computer business and being a father, he is also an EMT first responder and will soon be named the chief of emergency protocol for our area. He's a “prepper” and carries many cool items in his store for survivalists, such as solar weather radios that will also charge your cellphone. His rates are also much more reasonable than the place where I was going, which was 40 mines away. So all in all, things are looking up in spite of technical frustrations.
I am also seeing a wonderful new guy who is a real keeper. We're taking things slow and really getting to know eachother, which is a first for me. We've been having lots of fun little adventures together, like roller skating and the tattoo expo. This weekend we will take things to the next level and go ziplining through the redwoods! It's so nice to have a playmate with such an open mind. I didn't know what I was missing!
