I just finished the latest masterpiece by Marney Makridakis : Hop, Skip and Jump: 75 Ways to Playfully Manifest a Meaningful Life, and couldn't wait to write my review. (Just like I couldn't wait to read it again each day!) This is a book about manifesting the life you desire, while having a great time doing it! I looked forward to reading this book each day because it was fun, hopeful and uplifting. I think we all crave these qualities as the world becomes more fast-paced and stressful. Stress makes us forget how to be child-like, so we become crabby and rigid, trudging along on auto-pilot while life passes us by. Deep down inside we know this is no way to live, but we wonder what choice we have? You'll be glad to know that Marney offers us many choices in this delightful little book: over 75 to be exact! And best of all: Marney's ideas are easy to assimilate into our already busy lives!
I loved how the chapters were short and bite-sized, but filled with a bounty of colorful suggestions. They sounded so intriguing, I wanted to try them right away. The first exercise was a quiz to determine your natural inclinations when you are creating a project to share with the world. Are you a hopper, a skipper, or a jumper? I am a skipper all the way, and this book has already helped me to expand my repertoire. Take this fun quiz to find out what you are:

Marney's playful sense of humor shines through every chapter of this book, making it a delightful read, because you can tell she had fun writing it. After I was certified as an Artbundance coach through Marney's wonderful training course, we taught a class together on the subject of being of service to the world. I remember I was very nervous, and Marney suggested that I smile while I talk. She said it would calm me down, and make my discussion more fun for everyone because they would hear the smile in my voice. (She was right, of course!) I can just imagine her smiling and giggling the whole time she created this book, so I smiled and giggled many times while reading it. Wouldn't it be great if everything in life could be so fun? Read this book, and you will find out that it can!
