After around a year of Shelley Klammer's wonderful classes, I had quite a pile of picked-through magazines. I had gotten all the use I could out of them in my journal, but being the ever-thrifty Scotswoman, I wanted to do more with them than to just throw them in recycling. I did a bit of research and came up with these bowls. I have made several for our home and gave several away as gifts, and everyone seems to love them. I find the paper-folding process to be very meditative and relaxing. Here is the how-to video I learned from. I like her technique for folding the strips much better than most of the videos I've seen, because these seamlessly blend into each other. (you'll see what I mean if you end up trying this)

Hi! I'm Marguerite Bryant, but most folks just call me "M." This blog will be a place to share my musings and inspirational ideas.
