I found this recipe years ago in the Reader's Digest, and my best buddy Bonsai just loves them! Every year I make a batch to share with my friends who have dogs. They are easy to make, and contain ingredients that are in most kitchens. The dough freezes well, so I will make a tray tonight for Bonsai, and then freeze the rest to bake when it gets closer to the holidays. I use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut them out.
